## Quick answer

Yes, if you own one of the listed models. On September 17, 2026 the CPSC announced two Sauna360 recalls: about 41,580 U.S. units of Finnleo, Tylö, Helo, Radiant Health and related infrared or hybrid saunas and kits whose panels can overheat (recall 26-784), and about 6,000 Tylö Halmstad and Kiruna Hybrid saunas whose bench can collapse (recall 26-783). Stop using an affected sauna and call Sauna360 at 866-936-5962 for a free in-home repair.

On September 17, 2026, the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission announced two recalls from Sauna360, the company behind Finnleo, Tylö, Helo, Radiant Health and several smaller sauna brands. One covers infrared panels that can short circuit and overheat. The other covers a Tylö bench that can collapse, and it replaces a repair from 2025 that did not work.

If your sauna is on either list, the instruction from both the CPSC and Health Canada is the same: stop using it and book the free repair. The rest of this page shows how to tell.

**What this guide covers:**

## Recall 26-784: which infrared and hybrid saunas are covered

This is the large one. It covers pre-built infrared and hybrid rooms and the infrared kits Sauna360 sold for custom rooms.

| Brand | Recalled models |
|---|---|
| [Finnleo](/sauna-brands/finnleo) | IS-series (IS44, IS44-15, IS44-20, IS440-15, IS440-20, IS565), S-series (S810, S820, S825, S830, S840, S870, S880), Sentinel 3, Sentinel Hybrid 2-20 and 3 |
| [Tylö](/sauna-brands/tylo) | IG-series (IG810 to IG880), Kiruna 1, 2 and 3, Kiruna Hybrid 2-15, 2-20 and 3 |
| [Helo](/sauna-brands/helo) | S820, S870 |
| Radiant Health | Elite (E-1H to E-4H, EC-3H, EC-4H), Pause (P-1H to P-3H, including the CA versions) |
| Sauna360 | E510, E570, E580 |
| Saunatec | B-series (B200 to B880C) |
| Tylohelo | B-series (B200 to B880C), S-series (S810 to S880) |
| Unbranded | S-series S810 to S880 |

Custom and semi-custom infrared or hybrid kits are covered too: Finnleo, Tylö, Helo, Amerec, Saunatec and Tylohelo kits with Saunalogic controls, Finnleo kits with Infralogic, Saunatec kits with Carbonflex, and Tylö Aspire and Bliss kits.

## Recall 26-783: Tylö Halmstad and Kiruna Hybrid benches

This one is a second attempt. Sauna360 first recalled these saunas in October 2025 for the same bench problem. The fix did not hold, so the September 2026 recall offers a new one: a professional installer adds hardware and supports to the bench.

Covered models are the Tylö Halmstad 2 (120V, 15A and 20A), Halmstad 3 and 4 (240V), Kiruna Hybrid 2 (120V) and Kiruna Hybrid 3 (240V), all with the Bliss control. The CPSC is explicit: stop using the sauna even if you already received the 2025 repair.

The Kiruna Hybrid is on both lists, once for its infrared panels and once for its bench.

## How to check your sauna in five minutes

The CPSC gives two ways to identify a covered unit:

1. **Look at the control panel or the manual.** If it says Saunalogic, Infralogic, Carbonflex, or Tylö on a custom room, check the kit list above.
2. **Look for the brand badge** on the front frame panel, the control panel, the manual, or the logo on the door handle of a pre-built room, then match the model name to the tables above.
3. **Find the serial number.** It is under the lower bench, or on the wall under the upper bench. Write it down before you call; Sauna360 will ask for it.

If your sauna has only a stone heater and no infrared panels, it is not on the 26-784 list. A Finnleo Hallmark or NorthStar traditional room, or a Helo or Tylö heater bought on its own, is not named in either recall.

## What to do if yours is on the list

- **Stop using it now.** Both agencies say this first, and for the Tylö benches it applies even after the 2025 repair.
- **Call or email Sauna360:** 866-936-5962 or recall@sauna360.com. Have the model and serial number ready.
- **Do not open the panels or rewire anything yourself.** The remedy is an in-home repair by a professional installer, at no cost.
- **Keep the paperwork.** Note the date you called and the repair date. If you sell the sauna later, a buyer will ask.

## If you are shopping for one of these brands now

A recall does not make a brand a bad choice. It does change what you should get in writing before you pay.

- **Ask the dealer, in writing, whether the exact unit is covered.** Recall 26-784 covers units sold through July 2026 in the U.S. A dealer selling floor or warehouse stock should confirm the serial number is outside the recall or that the repair was done before delivery.
- **Be careful with used infrared saunas.** A used Finnleo S-series, Tylö Kiruna or Radiant Health room from the last decade is likely on the list. Ask for the serial number and the repair record before you agree on a price.
- **Traditional rooms are a separate question.** If you are comparing a Finnleo or Tylö traditional room, neither recall applies; our [infrared vs traditional guide](/guides/infrared-vs-traditional-sauna) covers that choice.

The real dealer quote in our [home sauna cost guide](/guides/home-sauna-cost-guide-2026) is for a Tylö Halmstad 2. The prices in that quote are still a fair record of what installation costs, but the model is on the 26-783 list, so check the serial number before buying one.

## What we could not verify

- **Whether saunas built after July 2026 use a changed panel or bench design.** Neither notice says so. Ask the dealer for the production date and the repair status.
- **How long repairs take.** Neither the CPSC nor Health Canada gives a timeline, and we did not test the Sauna360 phone line.
- **Why the sale dates differ.** The CPSC lists U.S. sales from May 2013 to July 2026; Health Canada lists January 2013 to August 2026. We report both as published.
- **Whether other Sauna360 brands are affected.** We list the brands and models the two agencies name. If your sauna came from the same factory under another name, call Sauna360 with the serial number.

## Frequently Asked Questions

### Is there a Tylo sauna recall?

Yes, two. Tylö IG-series infrared saunas, Kiruna and Kiruna Hybrid saunas, and Tylö infrared kits are covered by CPSC recall 26-784 for overheating panels. Tylö Halmstad 2, 3 and 4 and Kiruna Hybrid 2 and 3 are covered by recall 26-783 because the bench can collapse. Both were announced on September 17, 2026.

### Is my Finnleo infrared sauna recalled?

If it is an IS-series, S-series, Sentinel 3 or Sentinel Hybrid, or a custom room with Saunalogic or Infralogic infrared panels, yes. Finnleo traditional rooms with only a stone heater are not on the list.

### What do I do if my sauna is recalled?

Stop using it and contact Sauna360 at 866-936-5962 or recall@sauna360.com for a free in-home repair by a professional installer. Have the serial number from under the bench ready.

### Can I still buy a Finnleo, Tylö or Helo sauna?

Yes, but get written confirmation that the exact unit is outside the recall or already repaired, especially for floor stock or a used infrared room. Traditional heaters and rooms from these brands are not on either list.
