## Quick answer

Sunlighten publishes more prices than most price guides claim. As of August 13, 2026, its own US shop lists the Solo System portable at $2,099, Signature far-infrared cabins from $4,200 to $7,799, and Amplify full-spectrum cabins from $5,799 to $7,299. The shop navigation labels the flagship mPulse line Consultant pricing, but live mPulse product pages on the same store carry prices and working add-to-cart buttons: $7,399 for the 1-person Aspire up to $13,499 for the largest Empower. Those numbers match what owners report paying in BBB reviews and Reddit posts. Two things the sticker does not include: every cabin needs a dedicated 20-amp circuit (240V for the largest), and prices move month to month under a rolling sale. Treat any undated Sunlighten number, including the ranges in other price guides, as a guess.

Search for Sunlighten prices and you will find four different guides quoting four different numbers for the same sauna. One says the mPulse line starts at $8,999. Another says $4,200 to $7,900. A third says $5,000 to $8,000. A fourth says $7,000 to $12,000 and up. None of them dates its numbers, none links a source, and every one of them sells competing saunas from its own inventory.

Here is what we did instead: we pulled every price in Sunlighten's own US shop catalog, recorded the date, and compared it against what the same shop listed a month earlier. That includes the mPulse line, which the shop navigation labels "Consultant pricing" while live, purchasable mPulse product pages with listed prices sit on the same store. This page tells you what everything costs, how the numbers move, and what the sticker leaves out.

## The 30-Second Answer

| Your situation | The number that matters | What to do |
|---|---|---|
| You want the cheapest way to try Sunlighten | Solo System $2,099, or the dome alone at $1,899 | Published, no sales call needed. Plug-in 120V, no electrician |
| You want a far-infrared cabin | Signature I from $4,200, up to Signature IV at $7,799 | Published prices. Budget a dedicated circuit on top, 240V for the IV |
| You want full spectrum at a published price | Amplify II or III, both $5,799 right now | Amplify III needs a 240V/20A circuit, which costs more to install |
| You want the flagship mPulse | $7,399 to $13,499 on unlinked but live product pages | Bring those numbers to the consultation, then verify everything in writing |

All prices retrieved from Sunlighten's own US shop on August 13, 2026, during its "Warehouse Sale" that is marked as ending August 17. The pattern, covered below, is that some sale always seems to be running, but the exact numbers do move.

## Every Published Sunlighten Price, Dated

This is the complete list of prices Sunlighten publishes on shop-us.sunlighten.com as of August 13, 2026. Not estimates. If a model is not in this table, Sunlighten does not publish its price.

| Model | Size | Price (Aug 13, 2026) | Listed "was" price | Electrical requirement |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Solo Dome (dome only) | 1-person portable | $1,899 | $2,399 | 120V, standard outlet |
| Solo System | 1-person portable | $2,099 | $2,999 | 120V, 10.5A, standard outlet |
| Signature I (Obsidian) | 1-person | $4,200 | $5,199 | Dedicated 120V/20A circuit, 1,350W |
| Signature I (Eucalyptus) | 1-person | $4,999 | $5,499 | Dedicated 120V/20A circuit, 1,350W |
| Signature II (Obsidian) | 2-person | $5,599 | $5,899 | Dedicated 120V/20A circuit, 2,006W |
| Amplify II | 2-person | $5,799 | $7,699-$7,899 by wood | Dedicated 120V/20A circuit, 1,880W |
| Amplify III | 3-person | $5,799 | $8,599-$8,899 by wood | Dedicated 240V/20A circuit, 3,280W |
| Signature III (Obsidian) | 3-person | $6,399 | $6,799 | Dedicated 120V/20A circuit, 2,250W |
| Amplify IV (Eucalyptus) | 4-person | $7,299 | $10,699 | Dedicated 240V/20A circuit, 3,900W |
| Signature IV (Obsidian) | 4-person | $7,799 | $8,399 | Dedicated 240V/20A circuit, 2,750W |
| mPulse (all models) | 1 to 5 person | See the mPulse section below | see below | "120V or 240V, differs by model" |

Person counts come from Sunlighten's own product descriptions and its accessory size groupings (its sauna covers pair mPulse Believe with the II-size cabins, Conquer with III, Discover with IV). The Solo line also sells its pad alone at $849. Note the voltage split: the 3-4 person Amplify cabins and Signature IV need 240V, the smaller cabins run on a dedicated 120V/20A circuit.

Freight shipping is included on cabin saunas to the contiguous US, with Sunlighten quoting 3 to 5 business days to ship and 12 to 15 days in transit. Financing runs through Affirm (advertised from 0% APR), Klarna, and TrueMed for HSA/FSA funds.

Three details worth noticing in that table. Amplify II, III, and their wood variants all cost exactly the same $5,799 right now despite "was" prices up to $1,200 apart, which makes the bigger Amplify III the quiet value pick if you have the 240V circuit for it. The shop's own category tile still advertises Signature "From $5,099" while the cheapest live Signature page is $4,200, so product pages are the number to trust, not tiles. And the 4-person Amplify IV at $7,299 undercuts the 4-person Signature IV at $7,799 despite being the full-spectrum line.

## mPulse: The Prices the Shop Navigation Hides

The mPulse smart sauna line, Aspire, Believe, Conquer, Discover, and Empower, is the line everyone assumes is quote-only. The shop's sauna collection labels it "Consultant pricing" with no dollar amount, and the marketing site routes every mPulse click to a "Get Pricing" form.

But the store's own public catalog tells a different story. Live mPulse product pages, with listed prices and working add-to-cart buttons, sit on shop-us.sunlighten.com. They are just not linked from the sauna collection page. We found them through the shop's own catalog feed and verified each page loads and sells on August 13, 2026:

| mPulse model | Size | Price (Aug 13, 2026) | Listed "was" price |
|---|---|---|---|
| Aspire | 1-person | $7,399 (Basswood) / $7,599 (Eucalyptus) | $8,399 / $8,599 |
| Believe | 2-person | $8,699 (Basswood) / $8,899 (Eucalyptus) | $9,399 / $9,699 |
| Conquer | 3-person | $10,099 (Basswood) / $10,299 (Eucalyptus) | $12,199 / $12,399 |
| Discover | 4-person | $12,199 (Eucalyptus) | $14,499 |
| Empower | 4-5 person | $13,499 (Eucalyptus) | $16,399 |

Two independent checks say these numbers are real. First, they are Sunlighten's own store pages, not estimates. Second, they match what buyers report actually paying: BBB reviews and Reddit owner posts from 2017 to 2026 cluster mPulse at roughly $8,000 for the 2-person class, $10,000 and up for the 3-person, and about $12,000 for the 4-person. Owner reports and the unlinked store pages land within a few hundred dollars of each other.

Compare that against the third-party price guides ranking for this search, which quote mPulse at "starting at $8,999", "$4,200 to $7,900", "$5,000 to $8,000", and "$7,000 to $12,000+". Two of the four are low by thousands of dollars, and none of them found the store's own pages.

These pages can disappear or change at any time, and Sunlighten may still prefer to route you through the consultation. Fine. Walk into it knowing the list price. Negotiation also appears to work: one buyer reported a June 2026 Amplify quote dropping from about $6,400 to about $6,000 out the door after pushing back, and a July 2026 promotion knocked over $2,000 off an mPulse model. Treat the first number in a consultation as an opening number, and make the written quote itemize:

1. **The cabin price for your exact model and size**, with the discount that was applied, since reps position the consultation around current promotions.
2. **Delivery**, and whether it is curbside freight or in-room white glove. Published Sunlighten cabins include freight to the contiguous US, so ask why your quote would differ.
3. **The electrical requirement for your exact model**, since Sunlighten only states mPulse voltage at line level, "120V or 240V (differs by model)", and a 240V model means [an electrician visit that commonly runs several hundred to a few thousand dollars](/guides/sauna-electrical-cost-by-state-us) depending on your panel and state.
4. **The control tablet's replacement cost and coverage.** mPulse is built around a touchscreen control, controls carry a 3-year warranty against 7 years on heaters and cabinetry, and one owner has documented spending over $1,500 replacing a failed panel out of warranty. Our [Sunlighten complaints breakdown](/guides/sunlighten-sauna-complaints) covers what is confirmed and what is rumor.
5. **Cancellation and return terms, in writing, before any deposit.** The owner-reported refund friction covered below applies double when the purchase runs through a sales rep instead of a checkout.

## How the Sale Actually Behaves: July 2026 vs August 2026

Sunlighten runs was/now pricing more or less continuously. Because we record prices with dates for our [brand directory](/sauna-brands/sunlighten), we can show you exactly what changed between our July 2026 check and August 13, 2026, something no undated price guide can:

| Model | July 2026 | August 13, 2026 | What actually happened |
|---|---|---|---|
| Solo System | $1,999 (was $2,999) | $2,099 (was $2,999) | Price went UP $100 mid-"sale" |
| Signature I | $5,099 (was $5,499) | $4,200 Obsidian / $4,999 Eucalyptus | New variant, $899 cheaper |
| Signature II | $5,599 (was $6,199) | $5,599 (was $5,899) | Price identical, "was" price cut $300, so the discount just looks smaller |
| Amplify line | No listed price, consultation only | $5,799 to $7,299, published | The whole line went from quote-only to published prices |

Read that last column carefully, because it is the real story. In one month, a price rose during a sale, a discount shrank without the price moving, a cheaper variant appeared, and an entire product line went from quote-only to published. The "was" price is not a stable reference number, it is a marketing dial. In August the framing is a "Warehouse Sale, up to $1,900 off cabin saunas, ends August 17". July's version ran with no advertised end date. The four third-party price guides ranking for this search have noticed none of this, and their Amplify figures, from "starting at $7,999" to "$7,800-$8,400" for the 3-person, all miss the flat $5,799 the II and III actually list for.

The practical takeaway is not that the sale is fake. $5,799 for Amplify III is genuinely $3,100 under its listed "was" price. The takeaway is that waiting for a better sale is mostly a coin flip, and the crossed-out number should carry zero weight in your decision. Compare the actual price against competitors' actual prices instead.

## The All-In Number: What the Sticker Leaves Out

The published price is not the installed price. Here is what to add, in order of likelihood:

- **A dedicated circuit.** Every Signature and Amplify cabin requires a dedicated 20-amp circuit per Sunlighten's own spec pages: 120V for the smaller cabins, 240V for Amplify III, Amplify IV, and Signature IV. If you do not have one where the sauna goes, that is an electrician visit. One 2026 BBB complainant reported paying about $2,000 for the 240V circuit work. Our [sauna electrical planning guide](/guides/sauna-electrical-planning-guide) covers what the work involves and [our state-by-state cost data](/guides/sauna-electrical-cost-by-state-us) covers what it costs where you live. Only the Solo line plugs into a standard outlet.
- **Running cost.** A 2,000W-class cabin used a few times a week adds a single-digit to low-double-digit dollar amount to a monthly bill in most states. The math with real rates is in our [sauna running cost guide](/guides/sauna-running-cost-guide).
- **Warranty exposure.** Sunlighten's current published terms for residential cabins: 7 years on cabinetry and heaters, 3 years on controls, 1 year on glass doors and audio. Note that two of the price guides ranking for this search claim Sunlighten heaters carry a lifetime warranty. Sunlighten's own warranty page, checked August 13, 2026, says 7 years. See how that stacks up against 14 other brands in our [sauna warranty comparison](/guides/sauna-warranty-comparison).
- **Assembly.** The product pages state free freight shipping and transit times, not who carries the cabin to its room or puts it together. Get delivery scope (curbside, in-room, assembled) in writing with the order, since white glove service is the industry's usual paid upgrade.
- **Cancellation and returns.** Owner reports document real friction here: a buyer strung along more than a week for a refund after cancelling minutes after ordering, and another charged $1,200 in return shipping on an order cancelled within hours. Get the cancellation window and return terms in writing before paying.
- **Nothing for outdoor placement, because there is no outdoor line.** One ranking price guide quotes "$6,800 to $10,500" for Sunlighten outdoor saunas. Sunlighten's own lineup page states its saunas "aren't designed to be placed outdoors" and putting one outside without a cover voids the warranty.

## Price Transparency: Sunlighten vs the Brands It Competes With

If part of your frustration is the sales-call model itself, it is fair to compare how the premium infrared brands handle pricing. Same-day check, August 13, 2026:

| Brand | Publishes prices? | Comparable 2-person full-spectrum model | Published price |
|---|---|---|---|
| Sunlighten | Mostly: Solo, Signature, Amplify published; mPulse priced only on pages unlinked from the shop navigation | Amplify II | $5,799 |
| Sun Home | Yes, all models | Equinox 2P | $6,099 (was $6,799) |
| Health Mate | Yes, all models | Inspire 2 | $7,400 |
| Clearlight | No, all quote-only | Sanctuary 2 | Not published |

> **Disclosure:** Sun Home paid for a May 2026 launch sponsorship of our editorial coverage. We kept editorial control, and sponsorship does not change factual rows in tables like this one. See our [editorial policy](/editorial-policy).

Clearlight deserves a special mention because its category page states the policy outright: "Instead of disclosing pricing, we offer an experience tailored to your unique needs and aspirations." It then advertises "save $500 to $3,400" promotions against prices it never discloses. If you are weighing the premium options against each other, our [Clearlight vs Sunlighten vs Sun Home comparison](/guides/clearlight-saunas-vs-sunlighten) and [Sun Home vs Sunlighten comparison](/guides/sun-home-vs-sunlighten) break down what each brand documents.

Against that field, Sunlighten's published cabins are priced competitively: Amplify II at $5,799 undercuts both Sun Home's Equinox at $6,099 and Health Mate's Inspire 2 at $7,400 on the published-full-spectrum comparison, with the caveat that spec-for-spec differences (heater layout, EMF documentation, warranty terms) matter as much as the sticker at this level.

## Why the Other Price Guides Disagree With Each Other

A short methodology note, because it explains the mess this page exists to fix. The four price guides ranking for this search are all published by retailers that stock competing sauna brands, and none of them cites a source or dates a number. That is how you get mPulse "starting" prices that differ by almost $5,000, a warranty claim (lifetime heaters) that contradicts Sunlighten's own warranty page, and a priced outdoor line that Sunlighten does not sell.

This page has a conflict too, and here it is in plain text: we run sponsorships and affiliate relationships with some sauna brands, disclosed on the page where they apply, and Sunlighten is not one of them. Every price above comes from Sunlighten's own product pages on the date stated, and every claim links its source at the bottom of the page. When the numbers change, the date tells you this page needs rechecking, which is more than an undated guess can offer.

## FAQ

### How much does a Sunlighten sauna cost?

As of August 13, 2026, Sunlighten's own US shop publishes these prices: Solo portable saunas from $849 to $2,099, Signature far-infrared cabins from $4,200 to $7,799 depending on size and finish, and Amplify full-spectrum cabins at $5,799. The flagship mPulse line shows no price in the shop navigation, but its live product pages listed $7,399 to $13,499 the same day. Freight shipping to the contiguous US is included on cabins.

### How much does a Sunlighten mPulse cost?

The shop navigation shows no mPulse price, but live product pages on Sunlighten's own store listed these on August 13, 2026: Aspire from $7,399, Believe from $8,699, Conquer from $10,099, Discover $12,199, and Empower $13,499. Owner reports from BBB reviews and Reddit match that range, clustering at roughly $8,000 for the 2-person class up to about $12,000 for the 4-person. The binding number is still the written quote from Sunlighten's consultation for your exact model and configuration.

### Is Sunlighten's sale real, or is it always running?

Some form of was/now sale runs more or less continuously, but the numbers underneath do move. Between our July and August 2026 price checks, the Solo System rose $100 during a sale, Signature II kept the same $5,599 price while its "was" price was cut from $6,199 to $5,899, and a cheaper Signature I variant appeared at $4,200. Treat the crossed-out price as marketing and compare actual prices across brands instead.

### Do Sunlighten saunas need special electrical work?

The Solo line plugs into a standard 120V outlet. Every Signature and Amplify cabin requires a dedicated 20-amp circuit per Sunlighten's own specs, at 120V for the smaller cabins and 240V for Amplify III, Amplify IV, and Signature IV. If the room lacks a dedicated circuit, budget an electrician visit on top of the sauna price; one 2026 BBB complainant reported about $2,000 for the 240V work. Sunlighten states mPulse voltage only at line level, "120V or 240V, differs by model", so confirm it in the written quote.

### Does Sunlighten include delivery in the price?

Yes for published cabin saunas: freight shipping to the contiguous US is included, with 3 to 5 business days to ship and 12 to 15 days in transit quoted on Sunlighten's product pages as of August 2026. For mPulse quotes, confirm in writing whether the delivery included is curbside freight or in-room white glove service, since those differ by hundreds of dollars in the industry.

### What warranty does Sunlighten include at these prices?

Sunlighten's published residential cabin warranty as of August 2026: 7 years on cabinetry and heaters, 3 years on controls, and 1 year on glass doors and audio. Claims elsewhere that Sunlighten heaters carry a lifetime warranty do not match Sunlighten's own current warranty page.
